Walking the Medicine Wheel

The Native American medicine wheel is an ancient and profound tool for exploring human consciousness, manifestation and higher connections.  Like astrology, the medicine wheel is rich in symbolism, ritual and intimate personal connection for each seeker.

Starting in November, Kathy will be joined by Carla Woelz in leading a group in a year long journey into, around and through the magic and mystery of the medicine wheel.  Each month on the first Wednesday a moon meditation will convene at Carla's home.  We will learn the significance of that particular moon and learn how the seven ordinal directions inform our journey through life.

At the culmination of a year's journey through the twelve moons of the wheel, we will construct and dedicate a medicine wheel on Whidbey Island. 

This will be a year of deep personal discovery for each participant, and you will receive the gift of the medicine wheel teaching to use for the rest of your life.

Hot Topic for The Fall

You have read in other places on this site about discovering what this tender green shoot might be that's growing inside the crumbling institutions of our economy, politics and social structure.  One of the ideas that seems to describe this tender shoot is the idea of holistic business. 

Over the next few months Kathy will be travelling throughout Western Washington leading discussions on the meaning of Holism in conducting business in the new energies of the 21st century.  If you are interested in expanding your connection to this energy in your work environment, why not join one of these discussions and explore with like-minded folks how we can begin to build a more environmentally sensitive, socially responsive business model for these new times.

The next discussion will be held at the Washington State Holistic Chamber of Commerce meeting held at the Gathering Grove Bookstore, 2820 Oakes Avenue, Suite C in Everett.  The meeting will be held on the first Thursday of November at 7p.m.  You do not need to be a member of the chamber to attend.
