Kathy Baxter earned a degree in Clinical Psychology from
Cal Berkeley in 1973 and soon discovered the Association for Transpersonal Psychology which was then a brand new organization. She spent the next few years taking courses from some of the most experimental, forward thinking psychologists and philosophers of the time. Studying with Frances Vaughn, James Fadiman, Buckminster Fuller, Elizabeth Kubler-Ross and Raymond Moody opened her mind to multi-dimensional realities and the power of the peak experience in realizing human potential.
A mid-life magical trip to Ireland's “thin” places started a fire of spiritual growth . Weeks of encounters with light beings, conversations with ancient stones, and communion with eons of spirit family that reside in the Celtic and Druidic ruins were a life-changing, course changing force. Her mid-life re-definition returned her to her Berkeley roots and a renewed zeal for exploring spiritual frontiers.
In addition to teaching and writing, as an ordained OverLight Metaphysician, Kathy is trained in a variety of healing modalities in her work with private clients. She has studied Spiritual Psychology and Inverse Wave Therapy, Aura Soma, Crystal Light Therapy and Reiki. Her sessions use some or all of these techniques along with her own Intuitive Connection.
